Little by little, I am getting over this soar throat. I was able to sing during rehearsal today without my voice cracking! I was very excited.
Welp..I bought my stocking cap (known to you northern people as a toboggan) for Michigan today..Now I just need to wash a few clothes and start packing!!
It will be in the 20's during the day and single digits at night up there....
My chorus instructor is insane.
ANYWAY.
So I need to get off here and go to the bookstore to write down the books I'll need this semester.
Scroll down to see a few pictures!

We had a wonderful Christmas with Mama's side of the family in Texas. It has been over 10 years since we've been altogether, and also since we have two additions to the family, it made it even more special.
We mostly hung out at my aunt's house, but Friday after Christmas we did all go to Houston Space Center which was really neat. :)
New Years we spent here in GA with our church family. :) I couldn't think of a better way to ring in the New Year than with your brothers and sisters in Christ.
:D
This coming week is going to be busy, let me tell you what. I leave tomorrow to go back to Faulkner. Monday, I have to register for this semester and I also have chorus practice that night at 7.
Tuesday, as long as I finish registering Monday, I pretty much have to myself to do what I like. I'll probably get my apartment cleaned up and packed up.
Wednesday is our first day of classes and that night we leave for Florence, Alabama for a concert. The next day, we travel up to Indianapolis for a concert there. THEN the next day, we travel to Michigian for two days for a chorus festival. THEN on the way back, we stop in Marysville,Tennessee for another concert before we make our way back to Faulkner.
Busy, busy, busy. :-P
Well. I've been on my Grandma's computer for long enough. I'll talk at you guys later.
The chorus christmas party was great!! Everybody was so welcoming and nice. Of course, I knew quite a few people in there already (my best friends- Jon, Nicole, Tim- for example) but everybody else was very outgoing. :D We had a good time.
When we get back from holiday break its going to be hectic for me. First of all, I'll have to get all my classes and everything registered for. :P Then I will have 2 or 3 days to learn all of our songs before we leave for Michigan. *HUMONGOUS PLASTERED GRIN*
haha. It will be ok. I'm really good at learning music by ear quickly, so. I should be fine.
Anyway,
I have a favor to ask of you... My friend Nicole has been sick for the passed month and half. She just can't seem to shake it, so I'd appreciate it if ya'll prayed for her. Thanks!! :D
I don't know if I said anything or not on here, but her and Jon got engaged over Thanksgiving break!!!!! I was SOO excited when I heard the news. :) They are a wonderful couple and I know they'll please God with their marriage in a few years when she graduates and he gets out of Iraq (and eventually graduates ;)). They are two of the nicest friends I have here at Faulkner. I love them.
I had it posted below, but I decided to move it up here to this new post.
I now have a photo of Matt and I!! He HATES getting his picture taken, but he was nice enough to do it for me..especially since he isn't coming back next semester and I have no idea when I'll get to see him again. :( He's been a great friend and I'll miss him..Now I need a new chapel buddy!!
Anyway. Here it is:
I'll post again when I'm in GEORGIA!
