...and tomorrow begins a new semester at a new school and a new start at an old job. Hope it goes well. Currently, I'm slightly overwhelmed with my classes. I only have 15 hours but each class AT LEAST has 3 books...some more. So I can only tell you that I'm quite certain I will be reading a lot. And unfortunately, it will not be any Twilight books. I'm obsessed, I know. ;)
I love them! I've read all of them and the first two I've reread. I think I'm gonna go get the 3rd on when I have money again. I haven't read the Edward one. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to do it. It feels wrong. I think it's the author in me. I hope she finishes it though because I've heard it's really good!!!
well I am in my Sr. year at Harding. I should graduate in December, there are some things happening right now to confuse it, but I should still graduate in Dec, but my last semester may not be here.
Today's one of those rainy COLD days that you just want to stay in all day and read or take a nap. I've noticed a little snow mixed in with the rain and it's supposedly supposed to snow some tonight, but knowing alabama, it won't stick. That's the one thing I hate about alabama...no snow. ok make that 2 things...no snow and all the camo i see EVERYWHERE!! i get so tired of it...camo coats, pants, trucks, everything! but hey, everyone likes something different... oh well...not a very worthwhile post but, hey, at least it's something. Hope you all enjoy the weekend (snow or no snow)!
Twilight was absolutely amazing! I had not read any of the books yet (yes, I'm awful, I know), so I wasn't sure if I'd like the movie. But boy was I wrong :)
So this brings me to a question I have. As much as I LOVED Twilight, it did kind of bother me how it centers around vampires and eating/drinking blood, etc. I know the Bible condems such things (i.e. - don't drink the blood b/c life is in it [paraphrase]). So is it wrong to watch/read about such things, even if you understand that it is only make-believe? We are supposed to distance ourselves from every appearance of evil after all. I guess I'm just not sure. Any comments would be appreciated.
On another note, I am now 21. I've been called "old" already but sure don't feel any older lol. I am SO excited about Thanksgiving. One wonderful thing about being married is that you get double the holiday! Thursday we're going to have Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt and uncle's house and then Friday at Kevin's grandparents' house. Then of course there's left-overs. Yummy!
I heard Fireproof was really good, but I also heard it was kind of sappy. Which I love, but it's not the best thing to see alone. Maybe a girlfriends movie night or something.
Have a safe move. BTW, do you know Ashley Baerlin? She is from near Huntsville and she just also happens to be the girl I'm dating, so I'll have to see you guys sometime when I am visiting her!
So I've been bad about posting on here...although I regularly read everyone else's posts haha. So life is pretty busy, but I enjoy it. My classes are more challenging, but good. This semester I'm taking 2 government classes, and education class, and geography. I also LOVE my new job on campus! All the ladies in the office are so nice and i really enjoy it. They kind of make you feel as if it's all one big family. So fun :)
Being a wife is wonderful :) I love cooking and taking care of our apartment and having someone wonderful to share it with.
I feel like so much is going on yet I'm at a loss as what to write about. I guess I'll just close by saying how thankful I am for all the blessings God has given me. He is wonderful.
man...you really are the best cook...and ill gladly admit that to anyone. As I've said in the past...cooking wise (not age wise)...your hitting the grandma years early.
Nope, wasn't me :) I was north of Chicago on Saturday...definitely a different direction. I think I had heard something about a get-together in TN this past weekend, though
Glad you have found something better. Hope the move goes well for you. I am actually from Gainesville, FL so GO GATORS, not go Vols :) I did graduate from UT though so I guess I have to cheer for them a little. Definitely Go Titans though. Hope they hold on against Chicago today.
