This is the time of year that we all are thinking about giving good gifts to our families and friends. It is also a time that our hearts may be particularly drawn to helping those in need. In this spirit, I want to share the following information about some of our brethren who are really truly in need.
Open Heart Helping Hands was started to enable individual Christians to help our brethren in Zimbabwe. As many are aware, Christians there are actually starving and the situation has been bad for a while and getting worse. OHHH was started by a few brethren who recently visited the area and saw the great need with their own eyes. This non-profit entity has been established as a means to collect funds from individuals and to use all the donated funds to buy and distribute food to brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those in desperate need.
