Wow, that's a lot of books!!! So does anyone have any book suggestions for me? I know I'm gonna read The Wheel of Time series this year, but I'd love to read some other new books =)
Umm... I really like Sarah Dessen's books, similar to Ann Brashares. You know 5 of Janette Oke's books were made into movies? I haven't seen them but my aunt and grandmother have them.
*jaw drops* Maybe I'm just a slow reader, but I'm impressed! Seriously, impressed. I loved Artemis Fowl. A few years ago I read a really good series called The High Seas Trilogy by Iain Lawrence. Very highly recommend it. The first book is called The Wreckers.
So we finally got a van! But now that Rachel is old enough to ride in the front we have to say like, "OK, I was in it last time so you can have it this time around" It's kinda weird doing that!! =)
And I think my book list this year, of books that I've finished are only going to be 50! And I so was trying to read 63!!
The sleigh ride is coming up!!! And I can't wait!!!
So, I guess the roads were too bad to go see Twilight earlier this afternoon. Bummer. Oh well, if we don't get to see it in theaters, we will definitely watch the DVD, right? :D
Well we finally have our Christmas tree! This is my fist real christmas tree that I remember!! It's about 6 feet tall and really wide! And we made popcorn to hang on the tree - we made Rachel do that. It was kinda a pain to get the tree to stand in it's little "tub" thing, but It looks good so far! Hopefully we'll have pictures up soon!
Before we were putting the tree up we were watching a Christmas movie called "Borrowed Hearts" and in it they had a giant tree! It was probably around 9-10 feet high and it was beautiful! There was popcorn, and apples on the tree and I think it would be so cool if we could have a tree like that!!
I might be going sledding on Saturday with some friends from worship!! That should be pretty fun, I've never gone sledding before so I'm pretty excited about it!! Then in a couple of weeks I'm going to go sleigh riding with friends from worship!!!!! That should be amazing!!! That's another thing I haven't done before and I am really excited about going!!! There will also be a Bonfire and the whole 9 yards!! Then there's going to be a Christmas party after the sleigh ride!
And for all you people who live here in Wisconsin don't laugh at me for saying this, but.......I really am getting tired of the snow!!! =) I mean it! And I know there's only been snow on the ground for about 2 weeks maybe, and there's still 5 more months to go! But I am really getting tire of it!!!!
And we finally went clothes shopping!! And I got boots, and high heels!! They're so cool!! Though I still need a winter coat, to keep the snow out!! =) And on a side note, I was just reminded tonight that I still need to get my library card!!! I can't believe that I haven't gotten it yet!! I should get it before the snow gets any worse, so I'll have more books to read during the winter!!!
Oh boy, the sleigh ride's gonna be FUN! My mommy's making cookies and sweet stuff for it. Why didn't I get invited to the sledding thing? Tuh... I'm offended. Jk. I hate the snow, but I hate the cold more. A week and a day till I leave for Florida! Yay!
Oh boy I don't think i've ever seen so much snow! Even when I lived in North Carolina we didn't get this much snow!! I walked to the post office yeasterday in about 4 inches of snow!!! And we're supossed to be getting more snow in the next few days!!!
We're watching Home Alone one right now! It's one of my favorite Holiday movies! One of my favorite quotes in it is, "When I grow up and get married I'm living alone!" =)
Tomorrow we're going to try and go shopping for winter clothes, a christmas tree, and maybe get our pictures taken with Santa!! I've always gotten my picture taken with Santa for as long as I can remember!!
Well I'm almost done with my book list, I've read 49 books so far. But I don't think I'm going to be able to finish the ones I need to in able to have read 63 books!!! But oh well!! =)
Believe it or not, I've never seen Home Alone. I need to. The little boy was also in the Nutcracker. That one we have. When I was about 3, I thought he was really cute. Just shows how weird I was and am. :)
